Liquid Amber was born when my customers raved about my other soap, Sandalwood Scrub, and how much they loved the fragrance.  Not everyone was such a fan of exfoliating soaps however.  To remedy this I decided to give this beautiful fragrance combination a new soap – minus the scrub element!
This soap is made with my base recipe of coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter and castor oil.  These vegetable oils all add their own properties to the blend and create a richly lathering bar.  One that imparts deep moisture and nourishment to your skin each and every time you use it.
Liquid Amber – a Touch of the East..  Liquid Amber  – like its scrub twin – is fabulously scented with Sandalwood and Sweet Orange Essential oil.  Greatly prized in India, sandalwood is well known for its ability to induce deep relaxation and calmness.  This highly sensual oil has been combined with the sweet freshness of orange essential oil to form a completely unique fragrance.  This combination is both grounding at uplifting at the same time.  Using it truly adds a touch of the exotic to your shower experience.
To give the soap an interesting look I coloured it with a swirl of turmeric.  The turmeric is fluorescent orange upon making the soap and matures to a beautiful brown sandalwood colour.   It turns out that this oriental spice is not only good for enhancing your food, it also has super skin benefits!  Turmeric has formed a part of the Indian culture and tradition since time immemorial.  This potent spice is considered a herbal remedy due to its anti-inflammatory and therapeutic properties.  It is a very effective in the treatment of acne and oily skin due to its antibacterial effects and adds a youthful glow to the skin.

Shipping Policy
I usually post your order on the next business day if possible, but guarantee postage within 3 business days.

If you opted to receive your parcel via the South African Postal Service, you can expect a 4-5 day delivery time. Your parcel will come complete with tracking code which I will email to you as soon as the package is on its way.

If you chose to have your soaps sent via The Courier Guys, it will be delivered to your physical address in 2-3 working days.  I will supply you with a tracking code and you can track the progress of your parcel on the Courier Guy website.

If you chose the Pargo option, the parcel will be delivered to your nearest Clicks within about a week.  You will receive an SMS on your phone alerting you when the parcel has arrived.  You will need to bring in the code they give you when you go and collect the soaps.

I am not responsible for items that are confirmed as delivered by SAPO.
Delivery issues should be handled through SAPO.  However, if you are not sure of the status of your delivery or have reason to believe that we have made a mistake, please contact me.

Refund/Return/Exchange Policy
If the condition of your order is not as expected (damaged), I offer a full refund within 10 days of delivery. Proof of damage (picture) is required. To initiate a refund, send an email to [ email hidden ] with the word “refund” in the subject and an explanation of why you would like your money refunded.

If you are not satisfied with your order in any other way, please contact me via email.  All situations will be handled on a case by case basis.
