A solid wood cutting board for all your heavy cutting and chopping, whilst at the same time being a guaranteed eye-catcher!
The advantages of using an end-grain cutting board, as opposed to a normal wood or even plastic cutting board, are that your knife stays sharp much longer, the cuts into the board are not so visible and therefore, it is easier to maintain.
The size is approximately 43cm long x 28cm wide x 4cm high, with an additional 1cm in height for the rubber feet mounted on the bottom. The feet prevent the board from moving whilst in use. The average weight of the board is 3.9 Kilograms.
I made these cutting boards using a variety of quality wood that I had available in my surroundings. This board is made with rose wood and mansonia. The colouring of the rosewood is like the colouring of the clay bricks, the mansonia has the greyish appearance of the cement. To get the dimensions, I measured a plain brick and to get the cement layer, I could measure the security wall around our property.
The cutting board is made with food-safe glue and finished with a food grade finishing oil and Beeswax. The finish can easily be renewed by applying Garageworx Board oil and Garageworx Board butter, wich is the same finishing i used for this Board and which I have made available in this shop. I strongly recommend NOT USING any vegetable oil, as it will go off after a while, and start to smell.
This Board is NOT Microwave or Dishwasher safe! :-) Never soak or submerse it in water, just rinse it and immediately dry it off. If left soaking or standing in a puddle, it will crack or warp. Cracks and warping are not under warranty.

You should be completely satisfied with your purchase. That is why I work to the highest standards. If you have any questions, comments, complaints or anything to say, please send me a message.
I try to ship ordered items within two days of payment. Custom made items as soon as they are finished.
Most of my products are made of natural materials like wood or leather. Wood is always working, moving, shrinking and stretching. And therefore it might crack, warp, bend, change colour among many other things. This is normal and is not covered by any warranty. Leather will have various Grain patterns, colours, blemishes and so on. That too is not covered by warranties.
Items can be returned if it is clearly a production fault or has been damaged while shipping. Please, before you send it back, take some pictures, send me a mail and let’s sort this out together. Return shipping cost will always be at your expense. But if the damage is my fault, I will send you a replacement item or refund you the items price after receiving the faulty item back.
