Pretty pastels for Easter!

We are smitten with all things Easter this week!

I adore the bunnies showing their faces all over the place, but the one thing I love even more is the resurgence of all things pastel this time of year.

I've put together some of my favourite pastel goodies from the site for you, and you can pop over to our Pinterest boards for some more milkshake coloured goodness.

Clickety click, down the ice cream coloured brick road! Speaking of which, in keeping with all things delicious, take a peak at the Happiness Is Ice Cream note cards while you're at it. Even with winter starting to stretch out its sneaky fingers, I maintain my life mantra: It's never too cold for ice cream.

Black, white and gold home

My latest obsession is all things black and white. One of the rest of the planet's latest obsessions is the triumphant return of gold, after its long exile in I'mnotsilverland. I for one couldn't be happier. I'm draping myself in my grans old jewellery and am unleashing my inner magpie. (I have a keen eye for all things shiny.)

Naturally all this obsessiveness leaks out (ok gushes out) into my decorating style. And my decorating style is obviously fabulous so I'm sharing it with all of you! I've chosen all of my favourite monochrome and gold goodies from the site for you here (How nice am I? Right?):

Furniture from 31 & Change

A little while ago I found 31 & Change and I’m smitten. They’re doing something I’ve always wanted to do: bringing old furniture back to life with some sandpaper, some love and some colour (which, in my opinion, they have selected impeccably). Their site describes themselves as “a Brooklyn-based furniture company that designs with a twist, a wink and a smile in mind.”

Please click through to their awesome little site and look at some of their other incredible one-of-a-kind pieces.

Unrelated… last Monday in April, hm. How in the heck… ?
