Clutch purse - Naartjie Scales
Get groovy with a distinct 70’s vibe in this fish scales design. A neat and nifty square frame, wide enough for credit cards and generous enough for coins. The vintage square frame snaps securely shut with a satisfying click.
A Thunga label, with the text "Made in South Africa" is sewn into the inside of the purse. The inner can be chocolate shweshwe (pic 1) or scarlet, please send me a message at checkout if you have a preference.
Only authentic Shweshwe fabric is used for the outer and lining. Shweshwe is interwoven in South Africa's history having debuted in the Cape of Good Hope as far back as 1652 and is still produced at the Da Gama Zwelitsha plant in the Eastern Cape.

Store policies
- We use the SAPO for posting items and will provide you with a tracking number. We'd love them to drop the parcel at your door (which you would expect as it'll be a small package) but unfortunately you will most likely receive a slip and need to collect at the local PO. Probably safer that way. The service is really quite reliable but the slips often go missing and so we recommend that you phone the parcel tracking line after 3 days of shipping confirmation to see whether your item has arrived.
