After beginning my creative career studying Fine Art at Stellenbosch University I soon found that my absolute passion lay in the world of metals and jewels. After four years I received my degree in BA Fine Art Specializing in Jewellery Design, and was ready to send my ideas and work into the world. Milame Design was established at the beginning of 2011 and has become a realm of silver and gold, watercolour paintings and wool and tiny animals that live on your hand.  Milame pieces attempt to express simplicity and playfulness while commenting on shape and form. All items are handmade and individual in their outcome, allowing the buyer of a piece to feel they have purchased something special.  In keeping with the idea of uniqueness in my work I love to do commissions where I design jewels for a specific clients who contribute their own ideas and add input along the way, resulting in a product the customers will treasure and love every day.
