The Lovely Ones Store Policies: Please read these notes before making your purchase.
 
Some pieces are 'ready to ship' while others are 'made to order'. 'Ready to ship' items will ship within 2-3 days of confirmation of payment and 'made to order' pieces will ship within 2-3 weeks of confirmation of payment. (Please do check the notes on each piece before placing your order.)
 
If you are Cape Town based and would prefer to collect the piece from Rondebosch - rather than pay for shipping - please select the ‘self collect’ option at checkout.
 
Some photographs represent the exact piece that will ship, while other photographs are an example and slight variations can/will be present in the pieces that will ship. I state in the product notes whether the photograph is of the exact piece that will ship, or only a close representation of the piece that will ship - should it be the latter and you would prefer to have a photograph of the exact piece, please send me an email (andrea@thelovelyones.co.za) and I will send you an updated image.
 
Some pieces are 'one of a kind' made from a single-use mould (where the only mould is destroyed in the process of casting) while other pieces are recreated using a multiple-use mould (bearing in mind variations do still occur between repeated pieces – both on purpose as well as due to the nature of handmade work).
 
'One of a kind' pieces will be labelled as such.
 
'One of a kind' sometimes means that it is the only piece like it (or even similar to it) that I will ever make, but other times it means that multiple flowers or leaves from the same species have been cast, but that each resultant piece is unique – each one having been created from a different flower/leaf and a single-use mould (using the 'lost wax casting' technique).
